As the Alliance Party representative on the Eastside Learning Partnership Education Framework, Chris Lyttle MLA welcomed the launch of the new initiative, which has outlined an educational strategy for East Belfast and aims to foster collaboration between schools, parents and the community.

During the Assembly on 23 March, Lyttle questioned whether the OFMDFM is adequately prioritising matters of racial equality. The MLA's concerns arose in light of the delays to the OFMDFM Racial Equality Strategy and race relations legislative reform.

The MLA was one of the featured speakers at the BBC-covered event, which was hosted by TV presenter John Daly at Our Lady & St Patrick's College in Belfast on March 11. Lyttle, who was joined by speakers Gavin Robinson (DUP), Fearghal McKinney (SDLP) and David McNarry (UKIP), answered the question the question: "Should Ireland be Independent?"

It was a challenging privilege to attend an event to mark the 10th European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism held on March 11th in the Senate Chamber at Parliament Buildings, Stormont.
