Lyttle welcomed Health Minister Jim Wells's announcement that prescription charges will be explored in order to fund greater access to specialist treatments and drugs not currently available in Northern Ireland. He also appealed to the Minister for funding details, pointing out how available monies are potentially being misused.

Translink metrologo
Many consumers were disappointed to hear about Translink's increased bus and rail fares, which took effect this week. As the Alliance Party's spokesperson for Regional Development, I have invited Translink representatives, DRD officials and the Consumer Council to meet with the Assembly Transport Committee about the rising prices.
