Young at Art offering events throughout May


Young at Art, one of Northern Ireland's leading children's arts organisations, has a full schedule of events for youth this spring Lyttle is encouraging all young people in East Belfast and beyond to participate and try their hand at something new.

"Young at Art has some of the most innovative, fun and engaging activities for children and young people," Lyttle said. "It is a great resource for our community and allows children to explore their imgaintations and discover their talents."

Dino T-shirt Workshop
Saturday 2 May, 12-3 p.m.
High Street Mall, Portadown
This is a workshop to give families the opportunity to get creative and make their very won dinosaur-tastic t-shirts.

May Day Celebrations
Monday 4 May, 1-4 p.m.
Holywood Library
Join the Young at Art team for face-painting and balloon modeling as part of May Day celebrations.

Dinner Ladies
Saturday 9 May, 2-5 p.m.
Victoria Square, Belfast
Families will get to make unique artworks with a range of cultural ingredients at an extra-special arts and crafts buffet.

Vegetable Painting
Sunday 10 May, 2-5 p.m.
Victoria Square, Belfast
Families will get to decorate their own fabric bags with vegetables and colourful fabric paints.
